Welcome to Martins World Exotic’s blog, run by Greg and Samantha Martin! We are here to help both the novice and the experienced turtle, tortoise, and various reptile enthusiasts.

Greg has worked with reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and birds of prey for over 30 years.

Samantha is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a bachelors of science in Biology. Her major was biology with a strong focus on zoology. She has worked with various reptiles, birds, and mammals for the last 5 years but has kept pets for as long as she can remember!

Together, we are trying to bring back the integrity and honesty of the reptile business.

We hope you will find the information in our blog to be helpful and we are always willing to tell you what works for us. Our techniques in husbandry may differ from other breeders but they are tried and true for us. All we can do is give you our honest opinion on the “how’s and why’s”. We do not claim to know it all but we have a vast network of professional breeders, vets, and zoos that we can consult to help you with your reptile, amphibian, mammal, and bird problems.

We specialize in turtles and tortoises and have specialized in them for over 20 years. We have figured out, on our own, how to breed some of the hardest species successfully. We currently breed approximately 60 species of turtles and tortoises and have access to many more species that are bred by hobbyists and professionals alike.

We are dedicated to helping anyone, of any age, by answering questions and educating those who needs the help!
